Hi there,

I hope this isn't a frequent question, I swear I tried to find an answer
in the list archives.

I'm noticing that when it's run through amavisd-new, spamassassin is
skipping the network tests, even though I have $sa_local_tests_only set
to 0. I took a spam message that made it through into my mailbox and
tried running it through spamassassin directly and got a very different
score.

 From Amavisd-new
----------------
X-Spam-Flag: NO
X-Spam-Score: 2.092
X-Spam-Level: **
X-Spam-Status: No, score=2.092 tagged_above=-99999 required=5
        tests=[BAYES_60=1, EXTRA_MPART_TYPE=1.091, HTML_MESSAGE=0.001]

 From SpamAssassin
----------------
X-Spam-Flag: YES
X-Spam-Checker-Version: SpamAssassin 3.1.9 (2007-02-13) on dougtabacco.com
X-Spam-Level: ********
X-Spam-Status: Yes, score=8.7 required=5.0 version=3.1.9
X-Spam-Report:
         *  1.1 EXTRA_MPART_TYPE Header has extraneous
Content-type:...type= entry
         * 0.0 HTML_MESSAGE BODY: HTML included in message
         *  3.5 BAYES_99 BODY: Bayesian spam probability is 99 to 100%
         *      [score: 1.0000]
         *  1.6 RCVD_IN_BL_SPAMCOP_NET RBL: Received via a relay in
bl.spamcop.net
         *      [Blocked - see

         * 3.9 RCVD_IN_XBL RBL: Received via a relay in Spamhaus XBL
         *      [58.120.104.60 listed in sbl-xbl.spamhaus.org]
         * -1.4 AWL AWL: From: address is in the auto white-list

The bayes scores also came out different, but I can live with that. The
lack of RBL, razor2, etc. tests is really letting a lot of spam through
though. Does anyone have any suggestions?

Cheers,

Doug Tabacco
