discussed.

How do I get it back. Using AB 5.1

Recently I needed help with programming and was fortunate to obtain the
services of Dingo. He is not cheap but he did supply a smooth professional
program and communication was outstanding. That could easily have turned out
very differently so I would suggest a list be maintained of those will
As a postscript, I know that AmiBroker does custom programming at $80 per hour
but they seemed to be very busy and not really interested in my little project.
It is not my intention to suggest infringing on their interests but rather to
help with what they would rather not do.

I just had some work done by Dingo. It was well done and the communication
was outstanding.

Again, the single greatest advance to AB would be to simply be able to use what
we already have, not some new programming with inadequate and dispersed
documentation. Perhaps Howard would write a "How To" book on AB.

Trully spoken. I understand that having lived with AB since it's inception the
problem of seeing things with the eyes of a beginner. It's the same in any
profession. Hopefully someone else will have an answer.
Dennis for your reply also.

This is one post I strongly agree with. Perhaps Howard should be brought
into the discussion on how to help finance a new book. Perhaps a guaranteed
number of sales or whatever.
PS - The many many good ideas raise hope that this time a solution will
indeed be found.

It wouldn't be out of the question to have the Manual a separate piece of
software that is self supporting. This would also help the sales of
AmiBroker and allow TJ to concentrate on development.

I ran the search and was amazed. Theft of programming is like stealing a part
of ones life! Thanks for pointing it out. It does, however, highlight the
esteem with which AmiBroker is held.

I would second the recommendation for IB Brokers but recently recommended MB
Trading to my daughter :

They have a low cost data feed via Quote Tracker and I believe also meet
your other requirements.

haven't used MBT but this might be something to look in to.

ng you can download
the EOD data for the day and it will overwrite the previous data for that
day so that you again have only EOD data.
Hope this is reasonably clear.

I too would be interested in a plug-in to MB data. I have been using Quote
Tracker for which there is a plug-in and it works well with MB data.

One easy way to implement what you want would be to make a condition of Buy
be a 1 in one of the price elements that you don't use (for example "Open
Interest"). You could then reset it as needed, either at the end of the day
or upon sale of the stock.

Yes, you can write an ActiveX DLL using VB 6.0. See Com Support in AFL in
the help contents.
