Just curious, but wouldn't your system work if you buy at the open the
next day?
I download EOD data at night then scan my signals, based on the
closing price. Then, I buy at the open next day.
This makes me free from gap ups and downs overnight.
Of course, if gaps are what you are after, it

The price curve is pretty coarse since I don't have all that manybars
