George KE4HJ and Others-
I worked for Electronic Parts Company in Albuquerque, New Mexico from 1977
through 1993. We stocked the full line of Workman Electronic Products of
Glowbar brand thermistors. The values 85 to 100 ohms seems to be correct. As
you and others indicated they were used to
I have for sale a like new 32V3 transmitter.
The audio has been nicely modified a long time ago by Ed (ks3k) when
he had the transmitter.
It also has solid state rectifiers for high voltage, low voltage and bias.
I used the 14kv 1 amp bricks mounted in tube bases.
This transmitter has been 100%
That makes sense, because it would cut off the
degausser better. The hot unit would work as an
inrush limiter, then. Its resistance drops as it gets
hot, so it is an NTC thermistor.

I think George mentioned he only found one. If that is the case you should
put a polarized line cord on the unit and put the Globar in series with the
hot lead, provided the Globar is a NTC.

Greetings
Going thru my junk box I came across a number of 1800 ohm, 2watt,10%
carbon resistors. I will never use all of them. If anyone could use some of
these, let me know off the list.

Hello-
Does anyone know of books, magazine articles or websites that have
construction articles for homebrew shortwave tube and transistor radio sets? I
would like to build a medium to high performance shortwave receiver. Are there
any kits besides Ten-Tec?
Thanks, Byron.
