The neutralizing coil for my BT-20-A has lost a large portion of the enamel
insulation from the winding. I am wondering, if I coat the winding with a
lacquer of some kind, do you think it would seep down around the wire enough
to form an insulation? It's possible that the insulation on the sides

Now that you mention it, I got a Tecraft converter
from Bert too. I figured that would do until a "real"

Hi Pete,
See my response to Don. When I get settled, I'll get
in touch and maybe we can figure out what goes where.
I have several drawings, but I'm not sure any of them
are the complete receiver. I think at least one is a
converter.

Hi Don,
That's a great idea! I'm in the process of moving,
but when things settle down, I'd like to pull all that
info together. I might be able to build one receiver
from what I have, but it would probably require the
use of the second transmitter, which I'd like to
avoid, of course. I do have
Not really true Todd. The L'il Lulu receiver was never a club project.
The "project" I believe you're referring was done at the Morris Radio

Several months before Ed's passing, we sat down one Sunday afternoon at
his house and had nice discussion about the receiver/transmitter, the
mobile and AC power supplies, and some converters he had on the drawing
board. I have his typed receiver manual which never went to print. Each

Cool, Pete.
I got my first transmitter from the guy who did the
promo ads (Bert, in Tenafly if I remember correctly).
I emailed him one day on a lark because I remember
seeing a picture of the Lulus in a book I had as a
kid. Amazingly, he still lived in the same place and
had one TX to sell. I

Anyone need an SX-111? Not a basket case, but needs paint, alignment and
