My personal experience in Vietnam (1967-68) in the Army SigC is AM
voice was already dead. It doesn't and never did work in the high
noise levels near the equator. Enjoy AM in the winter but it is just

Tec Jupiter with me. It was 100 watts and had more power than the HF radio
at the time we were using. I had some connectors and cables put together and
used the Ten Tec on SSB with the encryption module going into the mike
