Just a note to say that I had a theremin going about 1949. Tubes of course.
I never could make the volume control work, but it made lovely wobbly sounds.

We have had a lot of wind lately and the rope that supported the 40 meter
antenna broke and the antenna is on the roof now. I am now on the twin
sloper which uses the tower as part of the antenna system. With 375 watts
I got on with Paul, N4JK, and I believe WA4NJY. Paul never got my call OK.
I was running 40 watts into a Perth Outbacker on my Buick.Not sure if it
was even working OK. Got to check the SWR.
