Pretty good receiver Brett. The audio with a good speaker is better than most Collins I have heard. The rest of the mystic Collins accolades apply to it. Watch out for bad bypass caps in the front end. It is a wrist buster, but not as bad as the 390 or 390A. Have fun and live it up. Jim/W5

I have a Collins R390URR and am beginning to fire it up after it having been on the shelf for about 20 years. It is dirty and all switches seem dirty and noisy. At least, it makes ambient noise without an antenna connected. I am finding more information regarding the R390A than the R390/URR. I wo
