My comcast service here in shreveport sucks so bad that I have to have DSL
from bellsouth to use as backup when the comcast cable it down, which is
often. The comcast, when it works, has a incredible speed on speakeasy but
the DSL is pretty slow.

Most home users and many business users have dynamic IP, which is assigned when
they log in. But a website, for example, needs a

Since Comcast took over the Time Warner stuff here in the Houston
area we have been able to maintain the same IP address up until now. But as
of this morning we now have a new IP address for my server. For those of you
that are accessing my server from time to time the new IP is 75.148.131.14
