Rearranging some things in a storage unit - I found some forgotten
boxes - full of 1945 National spares for the R model series.
These are NIB, in the original WWII packing, cardboard outer box,
heavily waxed inner box, foil barrier... unless noted otherwise.
Prices are $10 each plus
Finds from buried boxes in storage:
I have the following EF Johnson knobs, etc for sale. Some are used, some
NOS, some NIB - see the descriptions for details. I will sell one, a few,
many or all - prices are less for multiple quantities if you want them.
PLEASE email me privately
Well: as many Rangers and Valiants as I've had - ya'd think I'd be
better at the details...
PLEASE NOTE that the small fluted conical-skirted 0-100 knobs DO NOT HAVE
the little white dot - they are plain - for Valiant or Ranger
replacement you'd have to drill them and insert the

While not strictly an AM only topic, a friend sent me this link about
the largest SteppIr antenna system to date. It is a compilation of 57
pictures, this fellow has a lot of money tied up in his antenna, too
bad he doesn't have a good ol' tube AM rig exciting it.

I'll give it a year before something breaks. I had a 4 over 4 40M KLM up for
6 years and it was a maintenance nightmare. From the SteppIr comments on
Tower Talk they have their own problems.

Group,
There were a ton of good deals on rigs. Cheap ,older, HF rice boxes ( AM
capable) for some truly bargin prices.
The weather was a little on the cold side.
I picked up another GPR 90.
Bought and sold some WWII stuff.
Had to get one of those 30 ft fiberglass pole kits
Beautiful!
