David,
And the uplink is on the QRP transponder uplink. Joy.

So with all the space on 70cm.
The voice beacon is on the same frequency as AO-51. Is that right ?

Help: I,m working on a Yaesu
All,
A few months ago I corresponded with the AMSAT-SA webmaster about that.
I think it is a typo and the correct frequency is 435.350. As far as the
145.880 frequency being the same as the QRP uplink on AO-51, they are
correct in using it. AO-51 is not coordinated on 145.880, and they are.
Drew,
Interesting, and good to know. The flexibility of AO-51 gives us lots of
options if needed.

Alan

Live coverage of this launch will be on September 15th at
http://www.tv-tsenki.com/livechoose.php
Beginning of this coverage - 14:00 UTC, ending - 17:00 UTC.
I will plan to make two trips to the DM86/87 grid boundary which is the OK-CO
state line about 6 miles north of my current QTH in DM86. This will depend on
the weather.
I plan to be on:
16 Sept on AO-51 for the 23:57 pass
17 Sept on SO-50 for the 00:47 pass
19 Sept on SO-50 for the 00:05

This may have been asked in the past, but I cant find any reference to it, but
for several weeks now, on both AO-51 and today on SO-50 passes, I heard beeping
tones along with the carriers. These tones sounded just like the Sputnik beeps
from years long ago. (yes, I was around for it) No one
Perhaps this is from the high power long range cordless telephones? They
keep a carrier up with a status beep. There are a lot of these in use
south of the USA. The FCC shut down a few in the USA before.

Hi all,
I'm giving 2 talks in the next 2 weeks to two compeletey different

The point of this email, however, is that the following week I am

Being some what new to amsat need a little help. When new SATS are placed in
operation how are these loaded into SATPC32 program for tracking such as
Sumbandilsat?
Is there an easy way to switch from SATPC32 to SATPC32 ISS with out shutting
down one to go to the other?
Thanks for any help.
I also heard this when the satellite is above Europe. It started a few
weeks ago.

At the bottom of many pages of the AMSAT web site is a link entitled:
Report a bug on this page
The stuff I found was from 2002 and 2004 - no link there buddy
Thats why I asked

We found a problem with the position of the ISS
We have fired the retro rockets to correct it to meet your tracking
software.
NASA thanks you for pointing this out to us
You are indeed correct, the ISS was 20 minutes late
This is due to a new female commander on boad

Hi, I was looking at some information from the 2005 Edition of the
ARRL handbook, which referred to AO-40 in some detail... but of
course, AO-40 is non-functional at present. The information I was able
to gather from web sources imply there is a chance the primary
battery may become open-circuit,
It's still up there, every once in awhile I throw a little RF to it (sobsob).
