Greetings. Is there anyone that is using a Heil headset on the FT-736R, and
if so which one, which mike cartage and what adapter. I would like to
replace the hand mike on the 736R, which will free up both my hands. Thanks

Using BM-10 here with DX cartridge. I also use the yellow Yaesu adapter.
With another adapter, I use it with my Flex-5000. With no adapter you
can connect it to your computer microphone input and mix or what not and
then drive your rigs from the computer audio output with a resistor divider.

For some reason, the '736 is not specifically mentioned on the Heil products
page for headsets.

I use the Heil Proset-Plus and love it. Work great. I use the adapter also
with no problems.
