I use VQLog by EA6VQ. You can find it here
http://www.vhfdx.info/vqlog.html. It is very satellite friendly. It
will even list individual sat names and the modes. Tracks grids with a
map or tables. And like most logbooks it will track awards. Very
reasonably priced.

Hello All,
Just a reminder that we'll be running a few days of 38k4 packet

as per the schedule below. Note the voice repeater will be OFF.
Please keep in mind that receiving packet at 38k4 requires more than

Hi Mark,
Do we know what the BBS power output will be increased too??? With my busy
schedule I will be unable to upload pictures before hand. Hopefully there
are some on the bbs before Sunday to download at 38.4k.

Has anyone successfully used the HRD rotator program to drive the LVB
tracker? Is so, what rotator listing in the HRD rotator list did you use?

Hi Merle,
LVB uses GS-232 protocol. Refer to http://www.g6lvb.com/Articles/LVBTracker/

FYI-AO-7 switched from mode B to A right at 2321Z. Right in the middle of a

Loren,
What a noteworthy achievement, and a shinning example for others who believe a
big antenna and power is sometimes what it takes. I'm sure you have many
driveway stories to share, please consider an AMSAT article on your exploits!
Congratulations.

I have received Satellite WAS #323 from ARRL.
And I am jazzed. My first contact was on 11-6-2009,
with K8YSE. All of my contacts have been with an HT
and an Arrow, from my driveway. I would like to thank
all the hams who sent the cards that allowed me to
get this award.

Hi Enzo,
I have a TS-790A. As far I can tell and remember, only CW mode on the MAIN
band offers a choice of narrow.
I think about the best you can do is keep the microphone gain low and see if
that helps.

looked
at the time and thought it may have switched over to Mode A. Yep, it did!
