[amsat-bb] ARISSAT-1 qrm fm ISS ?

This pass just gone 09h58 UTC and the previous one at 08h22 UTC both had packet or APRS ? over the 145.950 Arissat SSTV. This last pass was just LOS when the packet tx was again and only ISS was still visable at my QTH. I have recordingds but no decode of that PKT yet. 73 andre ZS2BK

Hi Drew, On our clear pass south to north into ZS, at 16h07 utc, the bird was off and switched on with tone. Stayed on for 120 secs after PPT recycled. Goes off even though a tone station is busy. Works just fine ! Nice to have the higher power output from the bird. I presume

Hi, I noticed the beacon info showed for 5 cycles before switch on ( 18h45 UTC) that temp was 21C . FM and DIGITAL was active normal for 13 mins 23 sec after switch on. There after beacon still on and reported xponder on but silent and temp was now 25 and 26C ? Wonder if this was a

Hi Alan, Well I can report like many others, the SSB operation is excellent and clear comms. My switch on was at 5 degs going North to LOS and I worked ZS6Y, ST2NH, ZS1LS ZS6BNE. I was still copying at zero degs the stations in the North ! Congrats also for this fantastic SSB xponder.
