attempts to post a question I have about the old track box but it never
appears. I have used amsat-bb@amsat.org. All indications are it goes out,
doesn't appear in the undeliverable box but nothing on the daily
I thought I used to run the trakbox in host mode while using PCSAT. Couldn't
find trackbox in the menues!! AM I getting senile or how do I do it??

My FCD receives as well as my IC-910.
At present I am using it mainly as a spectrum analyzer. On SO-52 you can see
the whole band pass plus the beacon.
It is interesting to note the beacon level versus most of the signals in the
pass band.
Also I can visually copy the CW from the beacon and

Does the 9100 do Classic mode "A" 2m up 10 M down? Received two answers from
ICOM Yes and No! It seems to me that it will but I want to be sure.
The recent review in QST said that the BA1 didn't support Satellite operation,

Several years ago, due to corroded pins, I contacted Yaesu for a replacement
(the male side). I decided while at it I would get a spare female. The price
they quoted before shipping was $100 Plus I hard wired it!! Used same fix
for the on off switch on the control box!

For 9600B I connect PTT and TX data to the sub jack and receive audio to the
Main Jack. This has worked fine for many satellites and several different TNC's.
For 1200b I use the aux jack. This works fine for both satellite and simplex.

I have been monitoring 437.345 MHz. Today I found a bunch of frames from
RAX-1. Since I can't find any current info on RAX-1 I wonder if RAX-2 is
identifying as RAX-1. Haven't seen anything from FAST1 since Saturday evening.

Dec 10 0122 connected to my self and disconnected several times, I also sent
myself several packets. Only other thing heard was FAST1 beacon. This was
1200b. Will try 9600b next orbit.

Has anyone had any positive results?? I have beaconed with 1200 and 9600,
nothing.
After the 0330Z pass did copy RS0ISS on the same frequency pair, boy was my
element set off!!

Seems most of my concerns were centered around a typo!!! ICOM IC-910 manual
(@2000) says CAT code for FM is 04 when in fact it is 05 as in all the other
ICOMS I could research!!
All indications are the pair or IC-7000’s will work just fine and a lot less
expensive than the
IC-9100 + SATPC32.
My IC910 is on its last legs, now no speaker output. The 9100 has a big price
tag and a lot of features I am not interested in. I have been toying with the
idea of adding a second IC7000, one for TX the other for RX. The first glitch
I see is the CAT code for FM (04) on the
