OK - I'll ask. Why is this satellite not named, "AMSAT-Foxtrot?"
It was about 1956 that the U.S. military did away with "Fox" in lieu of
"Foxtrot" for its phonetic alphabet. Even the English army did away with
"Fox"over 50 years ago.

"AMSAT-FOX"?
