I copied the HO-68 beacon tonight during pass 90.
Here is what I noted:
0153 at 16 degrees cw sig was at 795
0155 at 20 degrees cw sig was at 792.8
0156 at 22 degrees cw sig was at 790
0158 at 20 degrees sig was at 787.32
0159 at 16 degrees sig was at 785.3
0201 at 12 degrees sig was at 784.

As this satellite has been placed on an initial schedule with regards
to the On Times for both the Transponder and Repeater, does the Beacon
operate regardless of the status of the bird?

I am hearing the HO-68 beacon strong while writing this ( 21:25 utc)
I have seen reports here that the bird was not heard for a while, I
guess it's still out there.
Only no transponder active.

I listened for HO-68 for the first time last night and again during two passes
today. The S meter on my FT-817ND didn't budge but the signal was steady and
clear and I was able to copy most of the characters that were transmitted.
