Recently I found some old audio cassettes on which I had recorded some of the sounds I heard from the satellites back in the eighties.
Rather than discarding the tapes I decided to digitize them and make them available to interested persons. I have got sound bites from: - RS-5 - RS-7 - Oscar 9 - Oscar 10 - Oscar 11 I also found recordings from my attempts to contact Owen Garriot, W5LFL, during his pioneering trip on STS-9 in Nov/Dec 1983. I made three attempts but only one of them has a few minutes with the voice of W5LFL, so that is the only one on my site. BTW is there a commonly accepted repository for things like what I have made? If so I'll be glad to place them in that repository as well.
