Dear All, After a long time away from the satellites, I am pleased to report the reception of XW-1 over Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.
Time was 1416 UTC to 1435 UTC and I had a maximum elevation of 68 degrees. Managed to copy the beacon on 435.790 CW +/- with a very good signal of S9+. Tried to work the FM and Linear transponder, but unfortunately could not get the downlink. Is the transponder off during this pass? Time permitting, will try out again 1.5 hours from now.
