Hello folks,
Does anyone know about current status of HORYU-2 satellite? it has been
sending the same telemetry CW data for several days in a row. E-mail
has been sent for mission manager but no reply so far.

Is anyone aware of the current status of HORYU-2? We've been attempting
to receive the telemetry at W1AW, but without success.
It is possible that we are using the wrong Keps (we have located two
different sets).

I, JE9PEL, used TLE's OBJECT D as Horyu-2, it was OBJECT B so far.
The control station are operating FM transmission test over Japan now.
I decoded today FM sensor data 86 bytes, packet No.300 of table_sector 4.

HORYU-2 is alive, 17 MAY at 19:10 UTC the CW signals at 437.375 MHz with 10 deg
elevation using 7 el yagui.

The launch of amateur radio satellite HORYU-2 takes place Thursday, May 17 at
1639 UT.
The satellite callsign is JG6YBW and radio amateurs are asked to listen for the
437.325 MHz telemetry downlink which is in Morse Code or 1200 bps AX.25 packet
radio.
