Hello Everyone,

Here is one "Satellite Short" which would be too late if we waited for the
weekend ANS news cycle:

+ The annual Quadrantid meteor shower will peak on January 4. Fore-
  casters expect the shower to peak around 07:20 UT (02:20 am EST) 
  on Wednesday morning, January 4. At maximum, as many as 100 meteors
  per hour could emerge from a radiant near Polaris, the north star.
  You can listen to the meteor pings on-line. The meteor echoes from 
  the Air Force Space Surveillance Radar in Texas detects a meteor or 
  satellite as it passes over the facility. Follow the link at:
