Hello Everyone, Here is one "Satellite Short" which would be too late if we waited for the weekend ANS news cycle:
+ The annual Quadrantid meteor shower will peak on January 4. Fore- casters expect the shower to peak around 07:20 UT (02:20 am EST) on Wednesday morning, January 4. At maximum, as many as 100 meteors per hour could emerge from a radiant near Polaris, the north star. You can listen to the meteor pings on-line. The meteor echoes from the Air Force Space Surveillance Radar in Texas detects a meteor or satellite as it passes over the facility.
