Hi Enso,

The OZ7SAT system is set to use 1268.705 MHz for the uplink. The actual
frequency will vary a little bit due to temperature variations (the radio
and transverter is located outdoors) but this does not seem to have a big
impact on the uplink.
We have adjusted the modulation so the resulting signal is slightly narrower
than expected. This appears to help a little.
Our uplink antenna is a WIMO 23-cm helix and I think we feed it with some
40-50 W.

The uplink success rate do varies a lot. On some passes we can't get in
despite 30 degrees elevation. At other times we manage to get in while the
satellite is only 3 degrees over the horizon.

OZ7SAT is a club station and you can mail us on oz7...@amsat.org. You can
see which satellites we are tracking on http://www.amsat.dk/oz7sat (the
first page is mostly in Danish).

The pass at 14:19-14:33 UTC today was a good pass. We received 2195 frames
from AO-51. That's was almost half a megabyte.

PS: Glad to see that we are not the only ones listening to satellite packet
here in Europe. We almost never see other callsigns in the queue.

Subject: [amsat-bb] AO-51 still cannot access

Hi,
Today at about 15:00 pm i had a good pass of AO-51 but as usual i could'nt
get in.
I've tried during the whole pass to tx on the uplink frequencies moving a
bit up and down but nothing to do, i did not get any response.
I have tried with two TNC with a TINY-2 and with a TNC3S but had the same
result.
I saw in the queue for the whole pass OZ7SAT.
I would like to know which is the correct frequency to TX.
Unfortunately i do not know and also cannot find OZ7SAT's email address so
if he read this message can please email me the correct frequency.
Any help will be really appreciated.
