Hi Bob,
Interesting that they would be squeamish about higher voltages when a while
back they ran an article suggesting running a 3-500 amp with the interlock
defeated and a meter jammed in there to measure the filament voltage. They
(quite rightly) took a bit of flak for that one though.

The number of emails and letters I have received on that one alternative

before QST published it.
