This had happened to me in the past and once I had to rebuild the
rotor, replacing the pot and bearings. The other time it was a simple
problem at the rotor- a wire had broken away from it's connection.
Check that first before going to lots of trouble tearing the rotor
down.

Never had that problem
But a quick look at the circuit,and if the az is working.Sounds like a bad
wire ,or contact if there is a plug on it
Check to make sure the wire on terminal#6 is ok
