Hi Peter, try contacting the ARISS folks. Not for an ARISS contact but they
have the liaison with NASA and may be able to assist you. You never know
what can be done.

We had a 5 day Space Camp in July and through the Canadian Space Agency
(CSA) we were able to do a conference call with the Canadian astronaut Chris
Hadfield with all the same prerequisites of a real ARISS contact - i.e.
needed to submit questions in advance etc. but we got more than a 10 minute
pass with him :-) Not quite the same as a real ARISS contact such as we did
at our 2007 Space Camp, but it was impressive just the same.

Good luck with your project.

Subject: [amsat-bb] HAM RADIO UNIVERSITY- 2010

Hello All,

I'm looking for an Astronaut as a keynote speaker, I know it's a long-shot,
but this Board has solved many problems!

The Great South Bay Amateur Radio Club, I'm a member, will be hosting Ham
Radio University on January 10, 2010 at Briarcliffe College,1055 Stewart
Ave,Bethpage, NY 11714. They plan to have about 300 people in attendance
the presenters will be spreading Ham Radio Knowledge and Know How. My talk
"Jump into Space with an HT" will probably be a highlight.... LOL

If anyone has any contacts that may help us please let me know, off line,
thank you.

73,
Pete, WB2OQQ
