Peter,

Check that you are using the same Observer position and source file in both
programs.

<Subject: [amsat-bb] PCsat32 WinAosS vs Countdown
<
<Hi all,
<
<
<
<I am using PCsat32 a lot to get me started on the sats (made
<my ever first
<contact via Funcube thanks to ON5NY).
<
<
<
<I use both the WinAos feature to print off the next day's
<passes, and I also
<use the Countdown feature to get
<
<ready for the next satellite pass when operating.
<
<
<
<I noticed today that WinAos gave Funcube a Max elevation of 34
<degs, but
<Countdown gave the same pass a max
<
<elevation of 80degs (Which is the correct one).
<
<
<
<Anyone know why the two programs give different results?
<
<
<
<Peter
