I received mine a while back and replied to him, but evidently he did not
receive my email. I will email him again.
Hope all are doing well,

Kind of cool and sounds like a lot of fun. I decided to try Yuri's

After many years of repairing equipment on ships, I know how stable the
AC is (NOT) onboard. Power supplies are the first thing to go.
I hope there are no "Sperry items" onboard Yuri. I was a longtime
employee by them..HA!

Thanks, John, for your part in this "recovery" and nice chronicling of the
event. Yuri sounds as good as always with the new power supply. FWIW, my last

There was a mention in a later Ohio/Penn DX Bulletin that Yuri was /MM at a
Black Sea DX Club
I hadn't seen that yet. Thanks for passing that along.

I wanted to re-state something... If you have not sent your cards, I would
send them to Yuri's manager, Eugene, UX0FY. If you have already sent them
to Yuri, don't worry about it. From what I have gathered, it appears that
if Yuri does receive any he hands them off to Eugene. I would direct

Hi Zack,
Great - I think I saw that he is on his way to Brazil.
I have worked him in several grids for the last few days.
Starting here in the Baltic See and last in HM56 February 20th.
He has been very active during the travel.
Have fun.

Hello,
I am new here in forum. There are 4 days I am trying to communicate with Yuri,
UT1FG via AO -7, but not know why he did not answer me. The signal is on
average 5 / 7 and I hear on the satellite downlink signal to very good. The
first time I heard it was between the coast of Africa and
