Chris,
We were there... where we you? :-)
Will you try again tonight? Would love to get at least one
of the W1AW remotes on satellite.

Not an AMSAT-NA
Bill, I worked the 4/23 0320z and 4/24 0347z passes.
Did not try last night as I was operating W1AW/2 on 20/40m CW.

Would like to try again tonight at 0301z, but I am portable/handheld
so impending
rain may preempt.
Chris,
My bad... I read the previous post as _last night_ (Thr) at
0347Z, not Wednesday.
There were a couple of us that read it wrong, so we worked
each other instead. :-)
Will look for you tonight (Friday) if the rain holds off. I
am handheld portable as well (Arrow and FT530).

Hope that we can get K4AMG up before you all complete operations.
Norm K4NDH has build us a new trailer to carry our prtable antenna system
around, so everything is disconnected.
God Bless

Sorry for the confusion. Doesn't look great tonite, with over 80% chance of
rain at the time of the pass, but we'll see. At any rate, to clarify - 11PM
eastern, 0300z.

Great to see other W1AW portable operations planned for the satellites.
I will be operating as W1AW/0 from EN34 in Minnesota the following week,
January 29 through Feb. 4th.
Note that those dates are from UTC through 2350 UTC.
All QSL requests for the W!AW portable operations should go to
FYI regarding QSLs:
QSL cards from W1ØØAW and W1AW operating portable will be sent
automatically via the QSL Bureau system to each U.S.A. station who
signs-up online to receive such cards [this form is not ready yet --
please watch for an announcement]. This is a one-time only use of the
