I finally heard and worked AC0RA during a late afternoon pass on Friday using a home brew moxon turnstile for down link and k5oe for uplink. I believe I heard other stations calling me but was unable to copy them. Clearly I'll need to ove the preamp as close to the antenna as possible but it seems I'm at least moving in the right direction with home brew fixed antennas. The downlink ais still significantly down inthe noise however. Rick W2jaz
