Nick,

One of the current problems with using SATPC32 is that since the Flex does
not support the TS-2000 satellite mode, the uplink and downlink are assigned
wrong VFO. This is problem since it tries to transmit on RX2. The
SATPC32ISS does work, since it does not use the satellite mode. Until the
satellite mode is fully implemented in PowerSDR, you will have little luck
driving it with the standard SATPC32. Sorry.

When I was trying to get the 2.0.16 PowerSDR to work, I also encountered
some issues with the sound. I could see the signal in the second
panadapter, but not hear it clearly. I decided it was not worth pursing at
this point, but a few things to check. Under Setup | General | RX2, make
certain the mute boxes are not checked. Also, try the latest, released last
night, PowerSDR 2.0.19 RC1. It fixes several things about the VU5K. I was
able to install it with no problem. It will be interesting to see what the
new software and firmware does, but that will have to wait here for a few
days. Good luck.

Subject: [amsat-bb] flex & satpc32

I am trying to configure a flex and satpc32. I have satpc32 talking to the
flex . I am having trouble hearing the down link when the tx is on the b
vfo. Can some one tell me how to preset the flex ?

Thanks
