This time the only thing holding me back was lack of operator skill. Jerry
W0SAT was on SO-50. I know he copied at least my suffix and my grid square.
Unfortunately I don't think we managed to complete a QSO -- I lost the
satellite while it was directly overhead and never hear
Congrats! Yes that first contact is a rush without a doubt! I just started
myself little more than a month ago, and the rush is still there! Biggest rush
thus far for me was the ISS crew contact using simplex, to Col Doug Wheelock.
