Hi,
It seems that when we want to save the contact list i aMSN, if the
extension (of the format) is specified in the save dialog box the script
double the extension, exemple :
file choosen by user : contactlist.ctt
file save : contactlist.ctt.ctt

Ok, so I can now understand why you do not see this option as a good
one. I did not mean to sound like a baby, I just wanted to "cast my
vote" even if I did not use those exact words. I just stated what I
wanted. Anyway, I will settle with no setting and edit the lines by
myself, no problems th
Over a year ago we reported on the promising gaim-vv which was supposed to bring MSN/Y! webcam and voice support to Gaim, a feature sorely missed by many IM users today when running Linux. The lead developer of the gaim-vv project now says that the Gaim project leader (now employed by Google) has k
Hi,
sorry, but I feel I need to be harsh again with our beloved users...
first, don't say "no, no, I want a setting", because I'll tell you what, I
don't care about what you want!!! Yes, amsn is very user-oriented but
look, we can't give everything to the users, you could cast your vote, and
No, no. I want a setting. I use alt+w and alt+e for most of tab-shifts
(konsole, fluxbox, etc) and have similar (shift+alt+w/e) for switching
desktops. I would not like to use some other setting for amsn since I
like to be able to use mostly the left hand for my mostly used
shortcuts. Choice is
arghh... no setting, but yes a shortcut for various tab manipulation
stuff... is on the TODO and was discussed several times... but no, not yet
implemented...

I don't know if there actually is a shortcut. But indeed there should be one.
Although I think it shouldn't be a setting. If there is a commonly used
shortcut for switching tabs, we should use that.

Is there any way to use keyboard shortcuts to switch between different
tabs within a conversation window? I noticed that there are not settings
for them, which I think that there should be. But are there any at all?
Kind of annoying having to use the mouse to switch between them.
Regards.

Yep, perfect, that's what I was talking about :)
You all had great ideas, but Arieh is right on all what he said, you can't
just ask the use to install vnc.. in the same way, the rdesktop use would
be to make it compatible by default with the official msn...
the vnc server SC is a great idea,
The truth is I would be happy with whatever was done. If someone is willing
to code this up, then I think we would let them choose.
However that being said, I do think that if its possible that we try to make
it compatible with rdesktop for ease of use for novice users.
