Hello,
yesterday, I did like you, spent some time on this problem and I also
found out that the scrollbar took a lot of space but I didn't think about
unpacking it to see what it gives...
yes, removing it fixes the problem...
I noticed that the "Note" text (right.note.desc) has an expand true

already failed and this is my last chance to get it right and I have
already really bad marks at my first exams.. I need to work like a mad man
I did some reorganising to get it all to work.
However I ran out of time just before finishing. It is all good now except for
the fact that I lost the top scollbar (it is commented out "#pack

I have the same problem, the Note box is too greedy
so the 'current notes' box is hidden.

Not really, as Jerome said, we need it to work with 800x600. My problem
is that the listbox with the notes and the text with the note content are
too "greedy" and I can't get all of {notes subject note} to appear. Do you
also have this problem?
My idea
Don't forget the fix was done to avoid problems on 800x600
screens..so if it's 832 pixels, we may have a problem..

Is anyone else having problems with the Notes window or is it just my

Ok, just tested it.
If the contact is blocking you or is really offline does not make any
difference when trying to start a chat. Both cases will result in error

The hypothetic doc says this would be error 216 if the contact was offline but
blocking you. Looks like it is outdated on

Hi,
linphone support was dropped long time ago, we have no idea on how to fix
your problem as we have no more knowledge about linphone...
use another client for audio conversations (skype for example)

I think the old bug was a difference in how the server reported the state
change when a contact went offline or when the contact blocked you.
But I am not 100% sure. I'll have to check when I have time...

That was a long time ago. The reply was a different code depending on
the contact being offline, or blocking you. But then the protocol was
fixed, and the same error code returned. Is it working again now, or are

I used

I can confirm this from hypothetic protocol specs.
I noticed this some time ago when studying the protocol.
If you try to start a chat, and the contact you are trying to chat with is
online but blocking you, the response you get is not the same as when the
contact is simply offline.

Could you be a bit more specific? I don't get the idea... What do you
mean "call the other client"? Just a normal conversation, a webcam
invitation, or what?
