Maybe I misinterpreted ... but that's what I deduced from some sniff I did.
In any case, those files are cabinets files with a content.xml file
inside that describe the files present. The only way we could create
such files would be to "guess" Microsoft private key :p ... and
icy is not really easy and needs to
have all the policy sources and recompile everything and reload it
(special role). The developers are working on a more modular way to do
it but I think it is not ready yet :(

that will fit in your current code though ;)
Won't it mess up the psm in an official MSN client ?
In MSN 7.5, the psm is in italic and I don't think there is a way to
change that (maybe with msnplus ...)

Sounds good ... I like this idea of tagging buddies ... I think it can
give a new dimension to aMSN.

groups (but tags are even better).
Sometime I just connect to see some people and don't want to talk to
others ... but don't want to block them neither.
