The idea was to make a generic preferences window, with a selector or
list at the left (a simple text list for now, we could add nice icons
later).
Then, you had PreferenceSection and PreferenceOption. Preference

I think you can start it with the command "::Preferences::Show" but it's
incomplete work, so maybe just look at
it to understand how it works and see what it lacks. you can also create an
empty prefs window with
"Preferenceswindow .prefs ; .prefs show .prefs"..

am looking for with the menus. I don't know of a way that could improve it,

I remember you complaining sometimes about the preferences window... it is
sometimes a mess :P
Actually it does its job well, but I think it's too big (scrollbars in a
dialog?)
