Hmmm .. maybe I was wrong and didn't hear it right the first time ... I
tried it again ad it keeps playing too quick. The recording is allright
though as played with play_sound it plays ok not using snack but gstreamer
there).
If it ever plays OK again I'll see what changed.

2007/12/24,
cool!
I wonder which setting caused this to happen... If you get the problem again,
save your config.xml, then audio/video assistant, then
diff the two config.xml to see what caused it!
thanks

Allright, this seems to work!
On another note: the volume settings in the assistant have no effect at all
on my setup...

Hi,
it's been reported a few times on the forums, it seems to happen after some
kind of change to alsa, an update or something... And the
fix is apparently to simply launch the audio/video assistant and reconfigure
snack. Did you try that? That would be bad if there's no
way of fixing it though
Hi,
all sound played by snack on my pc's are played to quick... am I the only
one with this problem ? I took a look at the snack manual and tried some
things but I have no luck with this.
Any idea ?
Karel.
