[android-beginners] Hello World Emulator Issue

I'm starting out in Android developing but I can't seem to even get the very first Hello World tutorial to run. I've followed the instructions at http://developer.android.com/guide/tutorials/hello-world.html. When I run the application from within eclipse the emulator starts up fine and eventually
