Hi, I am a newbie at developing on Android and i am busy looking through resources and looking at accessible API's.
I am yet to come across any that let me access the GSM phone data, other then the data in android.telephony.TelephonyManager and android.telephony.gsm.GsmCellLocation. I would also be interested in contributing to these API's if the data is not accessible for applications, though i suspect this is outside the scope of this group, but if you can point me in the direction of a group that will be able to help i would appreciate it. The data i'm after is, ARFCN, cell selection parameters ( C1 and C2 ), periodic update time etc etc... I have herd that there is a field test application that displays this data, which would suggest the data is accessible, as that app does not appear to be part of the open source code project.
