[android-beginners] Pre-configured AVD's?

Hi Just wondering if there are any downloadable pre-configured AVD's that match real word devices as closely as possible, in both appearance and functionality. It would be great if I could test my app on a Droid emulator, for example. If there are any where can these be downloaded from?
