(Using the latest SDK). Downloaded two different applications, and trying to install them in the emulator.
(My server and emulator are running) When I issue the command: adb install application.apk I get this error: pkg: /data/local/tmp/MemoGame.apk Failure: [INSTALL_PARSE_FAILED_MANIFEST_MALFORMED] Anyone have any idea what this means? I currently have the "Hello Android" application I created (in Eclipse running on the emulator, deployed from Eclipse). I am trying to install these applications from the command line. I am a newbie, and have searched for this error everywhere, but can't find any references to it.
