I just figured it out.
It click , keep mouse button pressed down and slide across the
screen.
The zoom slider pops up.
Is there any way to make the slider pop up using the keyboard.

So are you trying to do both a click and a key press? I'm not sure
what the code is for keypress, but you don't need to click the center
of the map. Just
