I am questioning if it is possible to develop and run an application without the Framework provided by Android. I mean, without Activities and Intents, and only using the underlying Java packages understandable by the DalvikVM. I want to do this because I see some limitations for example while using the openFileOutput() method that does not allow you to specify a path in the file name.
