Hello, can anybody tell me or had a similar problem why I cannot run AVD with my current Android Studio for a simple Hello World Sample project with an empty activity? With BlueStacksAppPlayer it works without any problems, but when I try to start it on my AVD it waits endless for a connection to it and hangs up. I use an iMac mid 2007 (upgraded ssd and 6GBytes RAM, OSX El Capitan 10.11.6) and Android Studio 2.2.2 with OpenJDK 64 Bit-Server. My AVD is the default Nexus S avd with Android 7.1.1 x86, Automatic graphics (software mode does also not work) and in portrait mode. With all other AVDs it is the same. Thanks in advance.
