in my game. It's a dream.
But judging from the answers, I'd better off creating my own music as

Directly using the song is obviously illegal. But what if I remix the
song myself? I'm also a musician.
Thanks again!

For example, if I remix battle themes from Final Fantasy series and
use it in my game. Will I get into copyright problem?
I'd be more than happy to put some credit text like this in my game:
"Battle theme originally composed by Nobuo Uematsu, remixed by [my

"Please visit our sponsors"
or something cuter like
"Please support our free games by visiting our sponsors ^_^"
above you ads banner?
I want to hear everyone's opinion about this. Do you think it'll help
increase CTR or not, and why?
Thank you in a

If yes, then to what degree?
I mean, do I need to hire a lawyer to write something like 'Privacy
Policy' for me?
Or just telling the users in the Android Market download page like
this is enough: "Update: version 1.0.5 - Added Flurry.com analytics to
help me track & fix bugs"
Thank you i
Allow me to bump. Anyone have some pointers for me please?

The result is a cool shadow effect. But it depends too much on

An example in APIDemos, called "SurfaceViewOverlay" show that you can
have Android UI (buttons, textview, etc.) hovering over a
GLSurfaceView.
Should I use a textview this way to display real-time UI (like Score)
in OpenGL game? Will it hurt game performance? Currently I'm using a

Hi. Please excuse me for being new. I'll try my best to explain.
I read the Android Developer blog about GLSurfaceView here:

It said one of the advantage we get from using GLSurfaceView is

I found the new and simplified BSD licenses here:

Am I allowed to use this template as my EULA ?
Or should I just include a note in my application that "this software

Say, if I want the G1 (3D OpenGL model skinned like G1) to be the main
character in my game. Will I get into copyright problem?
Well this sounds silly I presume. Since the picture of G1 or ADP1 can
be found anywhere. And there should be no reason at all to prohibit
developer from using the G1 pic
