Great news - thanks! It works on my Vista machine. Installed, restarted and bingo. That means I can start programs. Debugging does not seem to work. The G1 displays a message "Waiting for Debugger" and it keeps waiting for a long time. Nothing happens. I am trying to run the Sudoku example from th

I am running Vista, and when I enable the Application/Development/USB debugging setting, the 'found new hardware' dialog comes up and cannot find a driver. I assume this is the reason why 'adb devices' does not give any results. Sigh. What I would like to see is instructions how to get the G1 att

What do you need the driver for? I could think of * seeing the file system and being able to copy MP3 files and such onto the device * syncing with windows - Outlook and Media Player? I don't see the missing driver as a dealbreaker. You can always fall back on Wifi networking. On Oct 6, 2:09 pm
