*Location : The Woodlands** / Spring, TX (**Houston)* *Need locals to Houston, TX as there is an in-person interview* Large Oil and Gas company in The Woodlands / Spring, TX is hiring a Senior Oracle DBA for a long-term contract position. Candidates should be local to the Houston, TX area, as there is no remote work (or flexibility to work from home) approved for this role. The manager will review resumes up until 1/31/18, then schedule interviews, with a potential start date of 2/19/18. *Responsibilities:* · Installs, configures, supports, patches (CPU/PSU) and upgrades the ORACLE RDBMS and related services. · Database design, implementation, capacity planning, tuning & performance monitoring. · Perform database recovery and refresh. · Writes O/S level scripting, which may incorporate SQL/PLSQL coding) to facilitate DBA/App processes. · Technical troubleshooting & consultation. · Evaluate ORACLE features & make recommendations including appropriate database security. · Create & maintain documentation as well as project planning. · Work closely with infrastructure entities for server, storage, and network support to enhance performance and stability. · Participate in on-call rotation. *Required Skills:* · *ORACLE RDBMS & ORACLE Database support skills (ORACLE 10g, 11g and 12c), 5+ years of experience* · UNIX/LINUX experience with Red Hat focus including experience working in a virtualized server environment · Comfortable navigating the server environment using command-line and utilities · Heterogeneous Services Gateway configuration and support · SQL, PL/SQL and UNIX scripting Skills · Lotus Notes, Outlook, MS Office, ODBC and general IT Skills · Written & Oral communications skills – ability to turn technical jargon into something a customer understands · Team member requiring minimal supervision with strong interpersonal and customer service skills, self-motivated and strong work ethic * Thanks * *Anudeep | Anblicks | www.anblicks.com <http://www.anblicks.com>* *14651 Dallas Parkway, Suite 816, Dallas, TX-75254* *anudee...@anblicks.com <anudee...@anblicks.com>* -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Android Developers" group.
