Hey guys,

I search a lot throw the Google Play In-App billing API to find any
official resource where I find an answer to my question, but I didn't found
the answer.
So here's my question:

*Is there any requirement to initialize an In-App subscription?*

Like having a payment method which is always liquid? Like a credit card?

And if what happens if you don't have a credit card as a payment method?
Does it fail immediately giving back an error?
Or does it show the standard Google Play In-App billing user interface
saying you should add a credit card or something like that?
Or does is a subscription automatically canceled if a user has no more
Google Play credit when he wants to pay the subscription with Play credit?

Does PayPal count as a permanently liquid payment method?

If not? Why doesn't it count?

I'm a little bit confused because I use an App, which encapsulates a
website and they invoke for the subscription in the app the normal In-App
Subscription.
If I don't have a credit card registered in my account, the subscription
fails for some not really obvious reason. I have PayPal as a valid payment
method. I use PayPal for some other subscriptions as well.
But if I register a credit card, the In-App billing dialog opens offering
me to make this subscription using PayPal. Making the subscription using
PayPal works really well, the subscription went throw the whole process. I
got confirmation emails from Google Play as well as PayPal and I could
access the premium content.

So what's the problem with this whole payment process?

Why can I only make a subscription if I have a credit card, even if I don't
pay with my credit card?

That's kinda weird.

Can someone help me out.

Thanks,
Dennis
