We are looking for *one* BSA for our data warehousing project



We need to create Business and Technical Requirement Documents (“BTRD” or
“BTRDs”) around several analytic use cases.  They need to be independent
and not need detailed instruction or managing.



It is also important to understand that they will not be part of a BSA
team, so they need to be tenacious.



*In most cases, candidates will not have experience in both a provider and
health plan background.  We would like to find **one candidate with some
BSA Health Experience.**. *



We will consider (in the following order):



1 – Candidates that have everything we need.

·         Has Health Care Background

·         Has data warehousing experience

·         *Has been involved with* Data and Analytics experience and
knowledge

·         And has operated as a BSA



2 – Someone that has almost everything we need.

·         Has Health Care Background

·         *Some Exposure* with data warehousing

·         *Some Exposure* to Data and Analytics experience and knowledge

·         And has operated as a BSA



3 – Someone that is missing exposure to some of what we need.

·         Has Health Care Background

·         *Limited data warehousing experience*

·         *Without *Data and Analytics experience and knowledge

·         And has operated as a BSA



4 – Someone that is missing exposure to data warehousing and / or data and
analytics or who has exposure but in a different industry (3 of 4 are
required.

·         Has Health Care Background or exposure to complex data sets in
another industry

·         *Without data warehousing experience *or with data warehousing
experience from another industry

·         *Without *Data and Analytics experience and knowledge or with
data warehousing experience from another industry

·         And has operated as a BSA



Candidate must be local or willing to relocate.

Position Requirements

*Position will be responsible for:*

·  Working directly with internal customers to understand the business
environment and data analytical needs of the Presbyterian Health Plan and
Delivery systems.

·  Providing requirement statements and business rules along with data
dictionary documents to articulate end-user functionality along with data
table requirements in a cloud based analytics environment.

·  Creating/updating/maintaining requirements specification documents,
general system design documents and detailed system design documents.

·  Ensuring all business area requirements are included in the overall
requirements documentation and design documentation.

·  Lead impact and gap analysis of systems and business process workflows
using various types of tools, decision tree analysis, and data flow
diagrams.

·  Working with technical leads to define design solutions across system
components and identify configurations tasks. Supporting the development
process by providing support in answering all business requirements
questions and resolving issues in a timely way.

·  Analyzing existing system and process documentation to respond to
inquiries related to system processing or to identify documentation impacts
related to proposed system changes.

·  Extracting systems and process data to determine needs for re-engineered
processes and will serve as a primary point of contact for system
specifications, behaviors and technical requirements.

·  Supporting business users during their UAT including, where applicable,
reconciling report outputs from legacy and new data sources and related
downstream systems.

·  Ability to pursue tasks to completion with limited oversight, including
a proven ability to follow through on tasks, and influence others to
complete items and sign off on developments.

·  Ability to write SQL queries in TSQL and/or PL/SQL, and use the data
outputs as components in verifying acceptability of developments and in
obtaining user sign off.

·  Ability to draft and develop training documentation and support
documentation for new developments, and, where appropriate, conduct
training of end users.

*In this role you will:*

·  Work with multiple technical, business and end user teams.

·  Work closely with stakeholders to identify and maximize opportunities to
use information and technology to improve Presbyterian Health Systems
business processes.

·  Function as a champion of the project and the technologies being
developed.

·  Other duties as assigned

*Required Experience:*

·         Three (3) or more demonstrated experience in eliciting business
requirements, documentation of business requirements (e.g. BTRD) including
systems analysis, information systems, software development or other work
related to the duties of the position.

·  Proven understanding of application architecture governance and
relational database structures and the ability to use reporting/querying
tools and construct SQL statements and other modeling tools.

·  Demonstrated experience with cross-team collaboration, guiding technical
staff and engaging various project stakeholder audiences on medium to large
scale IT projects.

·  Excellent oral and written communication skills and the ability to
clearly articulate to all project members and stakeholders; must be a team
player who works well with technical and non-technical resources.

·  Proven ability to influence business users and obtain sign off on
completed developments.

·  Strong Excel, SQL, and analysis skills

*Required Experience (as much as possible):*

·  Healthcare industry background.

·  Experience working in data warehousing

·  Experience working with data analysis and modeling.

·  Demonstrated ability to communicate at different levels of the
organization
