Hi, I donwloaded 1.1 release and tried to use eclipse as my development tool.
Iteration #1 ---------------- Things did not work as it complained that the platforms folder is not found. I didn't knwo what to do as the downloaded zip file looked good to me. Iteration #2 ---------------- DOwnload 1.5 and try. I can get over the first hurdle and cna create an Android project usign Eclipse but i can' run and see the Hello World What is the error? Compilation error. no classfiles specified Conversion to Dalvik format failed Iteration #3 -------------------- Delete all the projects. Shut down Eclipse and create a new project. I don;t get this error and i get a new one. 2009-05-06 22:09:51 - MyHelloWorld] ------------------------------ [2009-05-06 22:09:51 - MyHelloWorld] Android Launch! [2009-05-06 22:09:51 - MyHelloWorld] adb is running normally. [2009-05-06 22:09:51 - MyHelloWorld] Could not find MyHelloWorld.apk! I guess this file should be created automatically. Who should be creating it and how can i get rid of this error. It sure is a tough start for me. Hello Worlds have usually treated me well but this one sure is giving me a tough start.
