*Data Engineer/ Data Analyst with REDSHIFT* *10 months*
*Seattle, WA* Data Engineer to help us in migrating our existing data, reports and Jobs from Oracle data warehouse to *Redshift* As a Data Engineer you will be responsible for designing, implementing and supporting the new Data warehouse platform and transforming the data from staging to reporting tables using specified tools and processes. Data Engineer will also be responsible to ensure that existing Jobs, reports are migrated as per the defined process you’ll play a key role in terms of defining our data migration strategy. You would also work closely with the entire team to evolve this migration process. *Roles & Responsibilities:* - Designing and Creating Schema on *Redshift Data warehouse* - Migrating and Transforming Data from Staging environment to Reporting environment - Ensure the accuracy and consistency of the data during this migration process - Responsible to enhance the quality and usability of data; develop the data storage strategy and design data views to meet business requirements. - Effectively balance scalability, performance, accuracy, and business needs in design decisions. *Basic Qualifications * - Bachelor’s / Master’s degree in CS or related technical field and 6+ years of experience in data warehousing - Excellent knowledge of SQL, 5+ years of relevant experience with ETL, data modeling, and business intelligence architectures - Excellent ability using databases in a business environment with large-scale, complex datasets; proficient in SQL, *RedShift,* and ETL. - Capable to taking initiative and working with minimal direction; self-starter even when assignments are vague or undefined *Preferred Qualifications * - Understanding of agile software development cycle - Strong sense of ownership, urgency, and drive, and a track record of delivery. - Passion for building new products in a fast paced, team-oriented environment. - Knowledge of data warehousing best practices When submitting, please use my template AND let me know about your candidate’s specific *RedShift* skills and awesomeness. *Thanks & Regards, Abhishek Ojha 732- 837- 2138 ao...@sagetl.com <ao...@sagetl.com>* -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Android Developers" group.
